  1. In the late 70s, when I first became acquainted with a different mindset than I had been taught, I began to notice the words used by these believers. And glory was one of them. I began to ask all that I could what the word glory ment to them.

Many years ago in the early days of my walk in the Way the idea came to me from the High Priestly Prayer when He said ‘this is eternal life to know God and His Son Jesus Christ’. This thought was wrapped up in the simple phrase ‘to know him’. As I moved through the Scriptures and time passed the idea grew and continues to grow. It is amazing how many times the Scriptures bring out this one phrase and similar ones. To know Him is the ultimate goal for our walk with Him. He walked with Adam/Eve in the Garden and He wants more than anything else to walk with us in the cool of the evening as it were when we have drawn away from the pressures of the day and think of Him and talk with Him. Maybe sing with Him. Just whatever comes so that we may come to know Him. Actually, it occurs to me that we are going to need the time span of eternity to come to know Him. It will be a never ending story.
