I enjoyed reading this. When I think of going to the Lord, I think of childlike but not childish. Childish as when I pitch a fit, which I have many times. I can’t remember who said it but I’ve heard the first half of our walk we fight the devil. The second half of our life, we fight with God. My spiritual maturity increased when I had a dark night of the soul. When everything I thought was mostly half truths and I almost got lost in it. And losing everything makes me not afraid of losing everything.
